Information
How it works
The mini facelift differs from the standard facelift in that the scar is shorter.
It runs hidden on the anterior aspect of the ear and ends at the lobe without extending posteriorly.
It is therefore a less aggressive type of facelift that is usually indicated in young patients.
The facelift succeeds in replacing the fat that has descended, tightening the muscles of the face and tightening the skin to correct sagging.
Applications
The mini facelift is an effective procedure to rejuvenate the face when incipient signs of aging appear.
After an initial period of inflammation, the appearance is natural.
Procedure and recovery
In most cases after surgery, the patient must remain in the clinic for 1 or 2 hours until the doctor discharges him/her.
The type of anesthesia we recommend for the mini facelift is local anesthesia with sedation monitored by an anesthesiologist.
During the first few days after surgery, the patient may have a feeling of slight tension in the face due to stretching and swelling, which will gradually subside.
During the following weeks, you will undergo treatments to accelerate this de-inflammation process.
