What is
What is a facelift?
A facelift, also known as a facelift or rhytidectomy, is a cosmetic surgery intended to improve the visible signs of aging in the face and neck.
As we age, the skin and muscles of the face lose tone. With this procedure we can stop this deterioration and improve the most evident signs of aging.

Information
Deep Lane Lifting
The facelift Deep lane by Dr. Mazarro works on all the structures that have been affected by the passage of time: skin, fat (deep and superficial compartments), musculature and retaining ligaments of the face.
The traditional facelift is based on supra SMAS techniques, i.e. after a posterior skin lift, in the ear area, the muscles are folded back on themselves and/or a skin cut is made creating traction on the tissues.
What is one of the major handicaps of the traditional technique?
When we pull from such a posterior area we will have little visible effect on the anterior structures of the face, which are the ones that suffer the most from tissue sagging with the passing of the years. mThis is especially relevant if we take into account the effect of the retaining ligaments that give themselves away, and the fatty bundles that accumulate in the anterior face, which are the ones that suffer the most from sagging. Jawline. If we do not affect all the tissue planes we will not achieve the desired lifting, since the posterior traction does not generate enough tension to reach the anterior layers of the face.
In short, the facelift Deep lane allows us, through the “traditional” incisions, to access the most posterior portion of the musculature and, in addition, to reach the anterior portion where the ligaments are located. Once released, we manage to reposition the tissues to their original location.
Lip Lift
The lip lift consists of the excision of a small strip of skin under the nasal base to shorten the length of the cutaneous portion of the upper lip. With the passage of time it ends up elongating, leaving the vermilion area thinner. When we shorten the lip portion, what we achieve is to evert the lip.
Who would be a candidate for a lip lift or a lip filler with hyaluronic acid?
In the case of elongation of the cutaneous portion of the upper lip, the infiltration of hyaluronic acid will only offer projection to the lip and the weight of the lip itself will cause more elongation of the lip. Therefore, we can say that, in many cases, a lip lift would be the most appropriate procedure. This small incision will help us evert the upper lip and create more projection.. It is up to the surgeon’s discretion if, in addition, a filler infiltration is performed to achieve more juiciness in the lip.
