Information

Procedure

In facial mesotherapy, and thanks to a very fine needle, which does not cause pain, we can deliver to the dermis a series of nutrients, vitamins, minerals, trace elements, which will restore vitality to the skin, both externally and internally.

The puncture technique can be manual or by means of a sophisticated mechanized system that accurately determines the depth, quantity of substance to be injected per puncture and puncture speed.

In this way, a large number of punctures are made absolutely painlessly, ensuring minimum marking and maximum precision.

There are different types of substances, and we will use them depending on the medical diagnosis of the needs of this skin: hyaluronic acid with moisturizing effect, vitamin and amino acid complexes, biomimetic peptides.

Types of mesotherapy

There are several types of facial mesotherapy, although the most commonly used is mesotherapy with hyaluronic acid. The benefits are multiple, on the one hand, the hyaluronic molecule retains water and moisturizes the treated area, and on the other hand, favors the stimulation of collagen. The result is a more luminous face.

  • In cases of flaccidity and low facial turgor, substances such as silicon are used. It is naturally present in our body and is involved in the creation of collagen and elastin.
  • If we want to revitalize and tone our skin, the most recommended are specific vitamins; it is a good treatment for younger skins that want to prevent the first signs of aging.

Benefits of mesotherapy

The skin will be more luminous, more alive, more turgid after the treatment, but if we could see inside through a window, we would realize that all the cells of the dermis, which with age are decreasing their activity, synthesize collagen, elastin, glycosaminoglycans, etc. again.

This “cellular awakening” will translate into better skin quality.

  • Moisturizing: Providing hydro-captor substances capable of retaining water in the stratum corneum, high surface moisturizing action increasing skin redensification.
  • Repair: Reduces and corrects wrinkles and regulates skin microcirculation.
  • Restores dermal functions: Increases firmness and restores skin elasticity.
    • Stimulates fibroblasts
    • Increases the number of collagen fibers.
    • Enhances the functionality of elastic fibers
  • Antioxidant: Facial mesotherapy has a cellular protection function against external irritants (sun and tobacco).
  • Actinic rejuvenation: Decreases pigmentation and improves skin tone.

Recommended age

There is no specific age to start this treatment, nor a standardized guideline for its use, but we recommend the prevention of skin aging and its initiation early in life.

Recommended sessions

Sessions are monthly, 2 or 3 sessions per year are recommended and can be repeated after 3-6 months.

Mesotherapy is anideal treatment for the whole year, as it prepares the skin for the summer and, at the same time, repairs the damage caused by excessive sun exposure.
