Buttock augmentation
What is
What is buttock augmentation?
Buttock augmentation, gluteal lipoinjection, or Brazilian Butt Lift, are the different names for the transfer of fat from a donor area to the buttock to shape, project and increase volume.
Information
How it works
The use of one’s own fat as a filler material to augment and lift the buttock avoids the use of filler products that when injected in large quantities, as is necessary in this area, can cause complications.
The person to be treated must have enough fat to extract, and assess whether the amount of fat to be liposuctioned is sufficient to perform the desired fat transfer. Very thin people cannot undergo this treatment.
To find out if you can be treated with in-house fat lipoinjection consult with us.
Benefits
- The patient’s own fat is the filler material.
- There is no possibility of rejection
- Fast recovery
- Definitive, stable and long-lasting results
- Natural feel
- The buttocks are the area of the body where injectable fat injections obtain the best results.
In most cases only one treatment session is necessary , although in some patients more than one is required to achieve the desired result, especially in cases where large volumes are required to correct the defect.
Procedure
1. Liposuction
After administering local anesthesia, the fat is gently suctioned from the abdomen or areas where there is excess fat to be used as a fat graft for volume augmentation.
Buttock reshaping
The laser is then passed to achieve skin retraction in the treated areas. Areas:
- Sacral above the buttock
- Subgluteal fold
- Flanks and hips
By removing fat from around the buttock, body contouring and more prominent buttocks are achieved.
3. LIPOTRANSFERENCE: Coleman Technique
The fat is aspirated with a 10 cc syringe, centrifuged and purified. Then we proceed to the selection of the donor fat cells to be injected by 3cc syringes in different areas and depths, intramuscular or superficial, of the buttocks.
- The total injection volume usually exceeds 500cc of fat per buttock.
- The fat transferred, in a percentage that can exceed 30%, will be reabsorbed by the body in the medium and long term.
- Only the patient’s own fat can be used.
- The fat injection sites are very small and inconspicuous (approx. 0.5 cm).
- Recovery time is approximately 2 weeks and exercise is possible after 1 month.
- A girdle must be worn in the extraction and injection area for 4-5 weeks to mold the new shape of the buttock.
